In June 2009, the Federal Government has signed into law new regulations requiring the Electronic Stability Program (ESP®) to be fitted to all new passenger vehicles from November 2011 and all models from November 2013 onwards, that are sold in Australia and have a gross total weight of up to 3.5 tons.
